Some of the sites include Gembira Loka Zoo, Yogyakarta Monument, Jogja Kembali Monument Zone, Prambanan Temple and Malioboro. “In this patrol, we give priority to educational activities in the form of traffic control and regulation, checking of vehicles in working order and vehicle completeness, as well as a call for vehicles to they don’t use sirens or rotators unless they’re specified to use one,” Yuliyanto said.

The patrol is carried out simultaneously by Yogyakarta police and resort police offices in five regencies/cities.
A spokesperson for the Yogyakarta Covid-19 task force, Berty Murtiningsih, said daily Covid-19 cases continue to rise in the city amid the Nyepi holiday situation. “New confirmed Covid cases in Yogya today are 2,541 and 20 new deaths,” Berty remarked.
