We need your help choosing Palmer Park’s new playground

Palmer Park is a busy waterfront park located in downtown Port Perry. The park and the adjacent picturesque historic downtown area are major tourist attractions that attract thousands of visitors each year. Playground upgrades have been identified as a need under the Port Perry Waterfront Action Plan and Township Asset Management Plan.

The goal is to create an inclusive destination playground to enhance Port Perry’s waterfront park and downtown. Construction is slated for fall 2022, and the revitalized playground is expected to help the township’s economic recovery and provide an improved space to bring the township’s children and youth together in a safe outdoor setting that will provide physical health benefits. and mental. .
